Due to the pandemic derived from the COVID-19 virus, we entered into an economic problem being affected by being a municipality that is maintained, for the most part, from the tourism sector. Within the construction industry, and for the protection of our collaborators and society, all activities were stopped, leaving many inhabitants and workers without the necessary income to overcome these difficult times.<\/p>


Urconsa has always maintained a spirit of support to the community, promoting its growth and prioritizing the quality of life of each of the inhabitants, the community, its collaborators, workers and associates. Concerned about the current situation and as a partner company of the Coordinating Council of Los Cabos, joining support with the Community Alliance of Baja California Sur (ACBCS), activities were carried out to improve the situation of those affected by the pandemic caused by COVID-19, and support for organizations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Economic support was provided to various institutions throughout the state of Baja California Sur, for the purchase of medical supplies necessary for health personnel and the care of infected cases, including gloves, mouth covers, masks, protective glasses, respirators, etc., in order to protect the specialists who are exposed to the disease on a daily basis.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Within the construction industry, we supported the construction personnel of several contractors who work hand in hand with the company, contributing a portion of their weekly pay, as well as a percentage of their IMSS contributions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Also supporting \u201cLos Cabos Children Foundation\u201d with a financial donation, the City Hall with a water pipe for the supply of water and food for the CROC collaborators.<\/p>

As a community, and being part of it, we must show solidarity, supporting each other, we will achieve a better quality of life. This time we have to face a global health problem and we have to face it together. Let’s take care of our community.<\/p>

The COVID-19 pandemic severely impacted Los Cabos, whose economy is largely dependent on tourism.
